We are starting off the new year with a visit to Avanzar non-profit in Pleasantville! Avanzar’s Violence Intervention Program works to reduce the physical, psychological and emotional trauma and recurrence of domestic violence, sexual assault and incest experienced by victims and their families. They provide a 24 hour hotline, free cell phones pre-programmed to automatically dial "911", emergency shelter, legal advocacy, and supportive counseling to those experiencing domestic abuse in the Atlantic County.
